B&B Aurora is located in Agropoli, an important coastal center of Cilento, at the western gateways of Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni. The village is surmounted by the old town that preserves the ancient village, which can be reached on foot through the characteristic climb of the stairs \u201cscaloni\u201d, one of the few examples of low and wide gradient climbs, protected by a wall. On the promontory inside the ancient village, stands the Aragonese Castle occupied by the garden d\u2019armi square, and the “French Room” whose name is in memory of the French troops’ for their stay in the Napoleonic period.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The coast of Agropoli is full of fortified towers such as the Tower of San Marco, the San Francesco Tower of quadrangular shape overlooking the sea, The Venetian Tower which houses the Punta Fortino Lighthouse, visible from the seafront.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Walking along the coast, you immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters of Trentova Bay, which is named after the homonymous rock connected to the mainland by a subtle tongue of walking ground.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Each year Agropoli is awarded with the “Blue Flag” award which attests to the cleanliness of the seas, the preservation of the environment and the efficiency of tourism services. The Pertosa Grottoes. They are the only speleological site in Europe where it is possible to navigate an underground river, drifting towards the heart of the mountain, where stalactites and stalagmites decorate every space with different shapes, colors and sizes, stirring up amazement and emotion. The Negro River is born in depth and offers you a fascinating and unusual boat ride, immersed in a magical silence, interrupted only by the roar of the screeches of the underground waterfall.<\/p>
